tile3047 Centipede

My take on centipede. I made it so you can only have 4 laser shots out at any given time in order to reduce spamming it and making the game too easy. Mushrooms take 4 hits, centipede and spiders take one. You lose the game once the centipede would enter the players movement zone. I tried my best to make the spiders place mushrooms based off of diffusion but they may not place them often enough where needed. Only one level and one life.

tile3047 Final Project

The object of this game is to share resources to make it to the end of the level, unlocking doors and pressing switches to release locks and such as you go, but watch out for deadlocks! a,w,s,d and k,o,l,; are to move the left person and right person left, up, down, and right, respectively. 1,2,3,4 and 7,8,9,0 are to give the left and right person the blue key, red key, yellow key, and green key, respectively. The purple switches on the ground will create a permanent barrier that you can't pass through once you walk over them, depending on the direction in which you walk onto them. If you're moving right then it will put one to the left, if you're moving down it will put one above you, etc. There are also doors that have bars on them, in order to remove these bar locks you must press the switch of the corresponding color. Both players must be on the exit tiles in order to complete the level. There are 3 levels total, each increasing in difficulty.

Here is my attempt to tackle parallel processing. At the start of the game you can't move until you press either 1 or 2, which will allow you to control the corresponding person (numbers are on their back). You must switch between the two often to complete the "maze". They must cooperate by pressing switches which will open and close doors of the same color. In order for the exit to open they must collect all of the pieces of data spread across each level. Both players must be on their exit in order for the level to end. I have made 3 levels total. The game could very easily be expanded to include more than 2 people, use more pieces of data, and include a large variety of door colors.

A bit of warning: for some reason the players don't always move when you try to move them so please be patient. Also, sometimes when you switch control between them, the person you're switching to will sometimes remember the last few moves you made so they will kinda jump forward somewhere, but never through walls or closed doors to my knowledge.

This is supposed to teach the player that a population needs a variety of individuals in order to survive and adapt. The user controls the environments with the number 1, 2, 3, and 4 keys. Once they have changed the environment, they won't be able to change it again until it has reverted back to it's normal state (gray). The individuals each have a number on them to give the player a hint, it's up to you to figure out what that is. Once an individual doesn't like a certain environment it will beginning to move towards a "safe house," where it will be free from harm. An individual can survive for 4 seconds in a harsh environment before dying. The levels are complete when there are no remaining survivors, and there are 3 levels total.
